The leading bereavement charity is recruiting for the following posts: Project Manager – Armed Services Bereavement Support Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity offering support to those bereaved by death. In this important and exciting new project, we are looking to extend and develop bereavement support services for those in the Service, ex-Service communities, their families, children, friends and colleagues. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Project Manager who will have the major responsibility of managing and developing this work nationally. You will have experience of working in a health or welfare environment and have knowledge of the service and ex-service communities and the issues and concerns that impact upon those communities. It is important that you have some experience of project management and delivering projects in full and on time. The successful candidate will be self-motivating, able to network effectively and enthuse others. We are looking for someone who has excellent administrative skills, as well as someone who is sensitive to the needs of individuals working within a diverse client and volunteer base. We are also looking for someone who has the ability to cope well in an environment where bereavement issues are constantly under discussion. The post is funded by a Department of Health grant until 31 st March 2011 and is based in either Cruse Bereavement Care’s Central Office in Richmond, London, or in Birmingham.
