Epsom and Ewell Branch
The Cruse Awareness in Bereavement Care Foundation Course will be running from Saturday 6th Sept, Sat 13th Sept, Monday 29th Sept. Sat 4th Oct, Monday 13th Oct. Saturday 8th Nov. Sat 15th Nov. Monday 24th Nov. Saturday 6th Dec.  Saturday times run from 9.15 am to 4pm; Mondays from 7.15pm to 9.30pm. Venue: St. Clements' First School, Fennells Mead, West Ewell, Surrey KT17 1TX. Bath and District Area
An Awareness in Bereavement Care Course is running this autumn on Saturdays and Sundays during Oct, Nov and Dec, starting on 11 October and completing on 8 December.  Each day is six hours (10am – 4pm).  Booking by 1 October 2008. This course is open for anyone and the price is £200 (reduction on application if on benefits). The Cruse Awareness in Bereavement Care Foundation Course is being delivered in the New Year in Guildford; applications needed by 10 October 2008; full details and booking form available here.

The West Midlands Region
A Supervisors' Course is organised for 25 and 26 October, 8 and 22 November, and 6 and 7 December 2008 at St Richards Hospice, Worcester. Cost £50.00 for Cruse Volunteers, £150.00 for external organisations and individuals.

Cruse Sandwell (which covers the Black Country between Wolverhampton and Birmingham), in conjunction with Sandwell Bereavement Services, is holding an Awareness in Bereavement Course on Thursday 9 October 9, Thursday 16 October, Wednesday 22 October, Thursday 30 October, 2008, Thursday 6 November, Thursday 13 November, Wednesday 19 Nov, and Thursday 27 November, 2008, venue to be confirmed. Cost £150.00 per head, some limited concessions are available

Cruse Sandwell, in conjunction with Sandwell Bereavement Services, is holding a one day conference entitled “TALKING ABOUT TOUGH STUFF” on communication with families and colleagues about grief and loss, presented by Ted Bowman, on 6 October 2008, 9.30 till 4.00pm, at the Training & Development Centre, Popes Lane, Oldbury, West Midlands. Cost £50.00 per head - lunch is provided

South Hampshire Branch
South Hampshire is running the Cruse Awareness in Bereavement Course in Titchfield, starting on 3 January 2009.  It will run over ten Saturdays, with a finish date of 18 April, at a cost of £250. Any interested person can email Terry Garvey for more information by e-mail or call on 01489 784615.
